I have been babysitting for the past nine years and have experience working with a variety of ages, from six months to twelve years old. Most recently I have worked with siblings who had a two year age difference - one being one and half and the other four. I have a twelve year old brother and many cousins traversing the years in between, so I am very comfortable with a myriad of ages. I love working with children. I am in my element when I am interacting with inquisitive, unique minds and finding out how to best entertain and educate them. I am an active singer, so music is something that is a huge part of who I am and how I interact with children. As such I also love to dance and play with rhythm - I’ve found that performance competes with ice cream as one of the most exciting things to a young child. I lead an active lifestyle and the outdoors are a big part of my life. I love to play board games, read, cook, bake, write, draw, play pretend, make faces, blow bubbles, blow raspberries, make play dough and much more. I am in the process of learning German, but am very eager and excited to do so! It is my experience that working with children is an excellent way become familiar with the language.
