Dear Future Family, I am a 23 yr old native English speaker with 5+ years of babysitting experience. There has never not been a time in my life when I haven't had a babysitting job, sometimes 2 or 3 at a time.I am a natural with kids with a passion for teaching and children's development. I have been to 2 1/2 years of university where I was studying Journalism and French (although I don't consider myself proficient in French). I left to give myself a few years before returning to travel the world, write, and teach yoga. I have just returned from traveling through India, travel writing and studying yoga. My next destination is Berlin, where I hope to find a good fit for a steady nanny job. My home is in the mountains of Western North Carolina where I was raised in a Quaker community with emphasis on consensus-based decision making and conflict resolution. I take from my unique background a deep understanding of the importance of community and active communication.
