| I am an English language native speaker from South Africa, with TEFL and have several years of experience as a tutor to my children and my friends’ children. My children were homeschooled in the Montessori system back in South Africa and I played a role in moderation of their learning. In Germany I have been helping a few acquaintances with their English skills, through frequent communication & a few grammar lessons as well as writing. I have also been tutoring some of my children’s friends in English and have helped improve their spoken & written English skills. I enjoy tutoring children because they are so hungry for information and have wild imagination. I am currently an English teacher at a private Kita and during my spare time I tutor children a few times a week for 3 hours. I believe children learn best when they have fun in the process and children give you their attention when you talk and listen to them and show respect- in return they respect and the same applies for adults. Remember children learn by imitating. Previously I worked in corporate and I was also involved in Training, Mentoring and Coaching employees. I was the head of the Quality Assurance Department.
