Hello, I’m Californian and have been living in Berlin for ~10 years. During this time, and before in California, I have been babysitting kids as young as 2.5 years of age and as old as 14. My German speaking level is A2 but my understanding is around B1.
I'm offering my assistance as a childcare minder, household helper, and/or personal assistant. I’m able to help with tidying the house, appointments, errands, laundry, planning and preparing meals, and companionship. I grew up as a helper, starting with my grandparents and then branching out to family friends. It's something very familiar to me and I enjoy it. There are some things I'm not great at, such as ironing and deep cleaning. However, if it is needed, I am, if the occasion calls for it, physically capable of both.
At the moment, I’m open to several things. One, I'm looking for a formally employed position, minimum 20 hours a week, in any role I mentioned earlier. Two, I'm also open to occasional date night evenings/overnight care.
My rate starts at 15 euros an hour, and may increase depending on the number of children, the type of tasks requested, and the frequency of care needed.
