I am Sarah, a student at the University of Göttingen, studying a master in nature conservation. I am also a synchronized swimmer and member of the Colombian national team. I lived in the USA for 5 years, where I did my undergraduate in Biology and worked at a YMCA as a swimming instructor (with kids from 1-3 years old), and synchronized swimming coach (for 6-18 year olds) for a year. I also worked as a babysitter, taking care of 2 kids (5 and 7 years old), preparing food for them, playing games, mostly outdoors, while also teaching them how to swim. I can prepare food and snacks and perform basic housekeeping during naps and bedtime. I also have experience in babysitting and taking care of newborns, as I have a nephew who is now 2 years old, and I have lived with and helped my sister throughout the process since he was born. Looking after kids requires a lot of energy and attention to detail, but I truly enjoy it and find it quite fulfilling. I am very responsible and always try to provide a warm, fun and nurturing environment for kids. I also find it important for parents to experience worry-free time away from home knowing that their children are in competent hands.
